Fractional Support
Fractional support is used when a business or project needs experienced commercial or operational input for a defined area of work, particularly across MMC, offsite construction, manufacturing and international project. It is typically provided on a flexible part time basis over several months.
The work is carried out alongside the existing management team, funders, architect, manufacturer or project team. It provides the experience needed to move the work forward without replacing an existing director, project lead or member of the client team.
Where I Get Involved
My fractional work is focused on projects and work streams where clients need practical knowledge of MMC, offsite construction, manufacturing or industrialised delivery of projects.
I work with developers, funders, manufacturers, architects and project teams on areas such as project assessment, factory planning, procurement, delivery routes, market entry, supply chain development or scaling up start-ups.
How Fractional Support Works
The scope, time commitment and expected output are agreed at the start. The work may take a few weeks or continue for several months, depending on the scale and type of project.
It is normally delivered over a set number of days per month and can be completed remotely, on site or through a combination of both. I would remain involved until the agreed piece of work is finished and the client's team is ready to take it forward.
